John M. Bartolotta joined the law firm of Palecek, McIlvaine, Hoffmann & Morse Co. in 2018. John is a graduate of The University of Akron’s School of Law and College of Business Administration where he obtained degrees of Juris Doctor, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Finance.
During his academic studies, John received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing, was inducted into the Financial Management Association’s Honor’s Society, and received The University of Akron’s Outstanding Performance Award in Corporate Finance. John also interned for The Small Entrepreneur and Economic Development Legal Clinic and The United States Attorney’s Office.
Prior to joining Palecek, McIlvaine, Hoffmann & Morse Co., John spent 6 years with a solo practitioner litigating a wide array of matters including: real property disputes, breach of contract actions, employment discrimination claims, securities arbitration, garnishment proceedings, probate contests, and a large array of complex corporate matters for numerous car dealerships and hotel management groups. During this time, John also provided legal support on the purchase and sale of several hotels, car dealerships, restaurants, and retail clothing businesses.
John brings a practical and business minded approach to the practice of law, and strives to achieve unique and creative solutions to best suit his clients’ needs.
