PMHM Attorney to Serve as Officer for the Wadsworth Public Library Foundation in 2018

Joel Cavanaugh

The law firm of Palecek, McIlvaine, Hoffmann & Morse Co., LPA is proud to announce that Joel D. Cavanaugh has been elected to serve as the Treasurer of the Wadsworth Public Library Foundation Board.  The acceptance of this leadership role with the WPLF Board of Direcotrs is a testament to the long-standing tradition of community service at Palecek, McIlvaine, Hoffmann, & Morse.

This will be Cavanaugh’s second year on the Foundation Board and his first serving as an officer. Cavanaugh stated, “it is an honor that my fellow board members saw fit to elect me as Treasurer, and I am thankful that I can have an expanded role in helping the Library flourish in our community for years to come.”  In addition to this position, Cavanaugh is a member of the Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce, the Wadsworth Young Professionals, the Medina County Bar Association, and is heavily involved with the YMCA, including teaching a weekly family fitness course.

The Wadsworth Public Library Foundation was established to seek, receive, and administer gifts, bequests, and donations for the support and preservation of the Wadsworth Public Library, beyond the level of taxpayer responsibility and in a manner consistent with the goals of the Library. The Foundation helps secure the long-term health and vitality of the Wadsworth Public Library through encouragement and stewardship of private giving. Please tentatively mark your calendars for Saturday May 19, 2018 for the annual Bookin 5K race to help show your support for the Wadsworth Public Library and the Foundation.
